Shakes not working?

Your maximum stamina decreases as your net worth grows: it starts at 200 and drops by 1 for every 5,000 net worth, bottoming out at 50. This means higher-ranked players need to invest more in shakes to stay combat-ready.

It wont ever let you buy shakes

Good catch — this was a real bug and it's now fixed.

The stamina system wasn't working as intended. Here's what was happening: the game was calculating a "max stamina" based on your net worth that shrank as you got richer, bottoming out at 50 once you crossed ~750k NW. Since your stamina also can't go below 50 from combat, high-NW players ended up permanently at 50/50 (already at max), so the shop correctly blocked shake purchases. The stamina penalty from jumping was also being silently nullified since it was already at the floor.

The intended design — and what's live now — works like this:

  • Regen cap starts at 100. If you've never bought a shake, tokens will regen your stamina back up to 100 after a fight, no further.
  • Shakes raise both your current stamina and your regen cap by 1 per shake, up to a hard ceiling of 200. This is a permanent investment — your regen cap stays raised.
  • Cost scales with net worth ($1 per 1,000 NW, min $100). That's the mechanic making it expensive to stay topped up at the top end — not a shrinking max.

All existing players have had their regen cap reset to at least 100, so you should be able to buy shakes now. The how-to-play page has also been updated with accurate info.

Sorry for the confusion — appreciate the report.
