Everything you need to know about DopeWars Online.
DopeWars Online is a free browser-based multiplayer strategy game inspired by the classic Drug Wars. You trade drugs between subway stations, build a drug lab, recruit junkies, manufacture weapons, form cartels, and compete against other players to become the richest dealer in the city.
Yes, completely free. There are no purchases, no pay-to-win mechanics, and no ads. Just sign in with Google and start playing.
No. DopeWars Online runs entirely in your browser. It works on desktop, tablet, and mobile — just visit the site and play.
Each round lasts about one month. At the end of the round, the top players and cartels are ranked on the leaderboard by net worth. New rounds start regularly so you can always jump in.
Every player starts with $1,000,000 cash, 100 tokens, 1 textbook, and a basic coat with 1,000 pockets. Your lab starts at 0 sq ft and you have no junkies, machines, or weapons. Everyone starts equal — strategy and activity determine who wins.
Tokens are the core resource that drives everything in the game. You spend tokens to expand your lab, recruit junkies, buy machines, travel between stations, attend university, jump other players, and more. Every time you spend a token, your entire operation ticks — your lab produces drugs, junkies earn cash, machines produce weapons, and stamina regenerates. Tokens accumulate passively over time.
There are several ways: trafficking drugs between stations (buy low, sell high), running a drug lab and selling the output, employing junkies who generate cash every token, jumping other players to steal their resources, and selling university credits on the Black Market. Most successful players combine multiple strategies.
Each drug's price at a station is randomized between $25 and $50 when you arrive. The sell price is always $2 less than the buy price at that station. Profits come from buying at a station with low prices and selling at a station with high prices. All six drugs share the same price range — the key is finding good spreads across stations.
Cartels are player alliances that boost everyone's production by +3% per active member (up to 20 members for +60%). This applies to lab output, junkie earnings, factory production, and combat power. Cartels compete on the leaderboard by combined net worth. Joining or creating one is one of the most impactful things you can do.
Yes! Join the same round, form a cartel together, send each other messages, and coordinate strategy. DopeWars Online is built for multiplayer — the more players in a round, the more competitive the trading and combat.
Jumping costs 4 tokens and 10 stamina. Your attack power (guns × stamina/100 × cartel bonus) is compared against their defense power (vests × stamina/100 × cartel bonus). If you win, you steal 20% of their cash, 10% of their trained junkies, and 10% of their lab space. Both sides lose some weapons in combat regardless of outcome — the loser loses proportionally more. You can only target players whose net worth is between 1/3 and 3× your own.
The Black Market lets players buy and sell university credits with each other for cash. Sellers list credits at their own price. Buyers see an aggregated order book showing total credits available at each price level — no seller names visible. Orders fill from the cheapest first. It's a way to boost your university courses using cash instead of tokens.
Buy textbooks ($16,000 + 1 token each), then attend class for a specific course. Each class costs 1 token and earns you (textbooks × 3) credits in the chosen course. There are 5 courses: Botany (lab production, up to +200%), Pimpology (junkie earnings, up to +200%), Home Economics (vest production, up to +200%), Engineering (gun production, up to +200%), and Negotiations (equipment discounts at the Arms Dealer, up to -75%). Bonus effectiveness scales with your net worth — the richer you are, the more credits you need per percent.
There are 6 drugs: Crack, Shrooms, Meth, Ecstasy, Acid, and Special K. All share the same price range ($25-$50 per unit at each station). Prices are randomized when you arrive at a new station.
At the Arms Dealer under the Shop tab. All three cost $1,000 each (base price, reduced by the Negotiations university course down to $250 at max discount). No tokens required. Alternatively, you can manufacture guns and vests in your Factory — this costs $15,000 + 1 token per machine, but each machine produces 1 weapon per token spent indefinitely.
No. DopeWars Online is fully anonymous. Other players only see your in-game handle and player number — your real name, email, and Google account are never shown.
Stamina multiplies your combat power — at 100 stamina your weapons work at full effectiveness, at 50 they're at half. You start at 100 with a max of 200. Stamina regenerates by 5 points per token spent. Buy protein shakes at the Shop to push it higher (+1 per shake). Each jump costs 10 stamina (minimum 50). Your max stamina decreases as your net worth grows (drops by 1 per 5,000 NW, flooring at 50).
If you get jumped 5 times, you're hospitalized for 24 hours. While hospitalized, you can't be attacked and you can't attack others. Your production continues running normally. After 24 hours you're back in the game and your jump count resets.
Net worth is calculated from everything you own: cash, coat tier, drugs in inventory, lab size, trained and training junkies, factory machines, guns, vests, thugs, and textbooks. Cash is deliberately underweighted — hoarding money won't win. Building infrastructure and military equipment is what climbs the leaderboard.
